I do not know what else to read next. I like fantasy books. No Twilight Saga or Vampire Diaries books.
Some examples:
1. The Neverending Story by Michael Ende
2. Inkheart by Cornelia Funke
I also like stories like this:
Mockingbird by kathryn erskine
The romeo and juliet code by phoebe stone.
Books like that. I hate nonfiction.
Chosen Answer:
The Phantom Tollbooth by Juster (it’s a silly book with a low reading level, but it’s clever)
Holes by Sacchar -(adventure- one of the best books I’ve ever read at ANY age)
The Giver by Lowry (one of my favorite books that I recommend to everyone)
The City of Ember by DuPrau (adventure/mystery solved by two kids)
The Narnia Series (except The Silver Chair! you can read it, I was completely bored by it however).
The Light on Hogback Hill by Cynthia DeFelice
Chasing Vermeer by Blue Balliett (mystery-haven’t actually read this one but my brother loved it)
From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler by Konigsburg (mystery- I love this one. It’s a mystery involving two kids living in a museum)
Among the Hidden by (don’t remember) -adventure
Because of Winn Dixie by (don’t remember)

Have you tried the hunger games series? I definitely reccomend the books, starting with the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins.
The first three Harry Potter books.. But if I were you I’d wait a couple of years before reading the last of them.. Really great.
Other than that,
Narnia Series
The Golden Compass
The Little House… by Laura Ingalls Wilder
Famous Five – Enid Blyton
There are 3 books by Holly Black that I read when I was about that age and loved. They are Tithe, Valiant, and Ironside. They’re basically fantasy books, with a modern approach to fairies, and various other creatures, and how they live among humans. They’re great reads, mixing fantasy with a bit of teenage romance – but nothing too sickly.
You also might enjoy the Artemis Fowl books, if you haven’t already read them.
The Phantom Tollbooth by Juster (it’s a silly book with a low reading level, but it’s clever)
Holes by Sacchar -(adventure- one of the best books I’ve ever read at ANY age)

The star of Kazan – Eva Ibbotson
The velvet room – Zilpha Keatley-Snyder
