Strong Host

I’ve had Rock Band 2 for about eleven months, and I still don’t know the answer.
On my Rock Band 2 drumset there are three holes under where you plug in the bass pedal. One is green, one is yellow, and the other is blue, they are all the same size, about the size of the holes that you plug the bass pedal into, and they are all about one inch apart. What do these three wholes do?
